How it's done

After you have placed your order we will send you an impression kit, with enough non toxic moulding compound to take two to three prints.  We ask you to send all the prints you take so that we are able to choose the best print.  If you need more moulding compound this is sent our free of charge. We will provide you with everything you need to take the print, including a prepaid envelope to send your impressions back to us.  On your order form there is space for you to stipulate size, shape and inscriptions - if something is unclear or not possible we will contact you. 

We will then start creating your unique piece of jewellery which is individually hand crafted to the highest standard in our studio.  Because of this no two pieces will ever be the same.  We use a product called Precious Metal Clay which once fired becomes 99.9% pure fine silver and can be hallmarked at an extra cost (processing time for this takes longer as well). Once we receive your prints back, the process takes about 1.5 weeks to complete but can be up to 3 weeks in busier periods (Fathers Day, Christmas, etc).  We will then package your jewellery in gift packaging and return to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

If you live in Doncaster, we are happy to come to you and take the prints if you prefer.  

All impressions are kept in the event of you wishing to order anything else.

 Sizes

Small Charms are about the size of a 1p or 5p coin, in some instances it is possible to put an inscription on the front but in most cases it will have to be on the back.

Medium Charms are about the size of a 10p coin, possible for inscriptions on front or back

Large Charms are about the size of a £2 coin, possible to add more than one print.

Shapes

We offer the following shapes currently.  Some shapes are unavailable in certain sizes. If there is a problem we will let you know.

Curvy heart, heart, sqaure, circle, leaf, flower, rectangle, star.

Options

We don't expect you to order jewellery if you only want a charm but we do automatically place a hole in the charm with a jump ring.  You can choose to have this either soldered shut or left open to fit to another piece of jewellery.  Please state on your order form which you prefer.  If you don't want a hole please let us know beforehand.

The chains we offer come in 16", 18" and 20", again if we do not have what you request, we will contact you with alternatives.

Your Child's prints

Older children do have better prints but if you choose to have it done whilst your child is still very young, you will still get a unique shape and size imprint to them.  Another option is to take the print of the top of the finger getting the shape of your babies nail.  no matter what, you will still have something beautiful, special and unique to your child, to treassure forever!

Jewellery Parties

If you book a party, as a thank you we will give you 10% of our takings for the day, back as cash. This is a perfect way to pay for your own piece of jewellery.  We will come to your chosen venue with our samples and impression kits.  Our trained staff will take the children's fingerprints and help you place your orders.  We will then make the pieces and return them free of charge (postage) to the hosts address.  We will also offer certain promotions which are only available to parties.

We also offer the same incentives to schools and playgroups but with the added bonus of reduced prices, allowing schools to raise further funds if they pleased.
